Guava

Year-round bearing through canopy science

Meadow orchard systems, pruning regimens and pink-pulp variety programmes for steady, premium-quality fruit supply.

Guava

Guava rewards growers who treat it as a science. By controlling the timing and severity of pruning, we shift cropping from the low-value rainy season (when prices crash and quality drops) to the winter ambe-bahar window where premium pink-pulp varieties — Lalit, Allahabad Safeda, VNR Bihi — fetch their best prices. Our meadow orchard designs achieve commercial yields by Year 2 and support mechanised inter-row operations. Bagging individual fruits for fly protection is a small effort that produces near-blemish-free, premium-grade fruit suitable for organised retail.

How we help with Guava

  • Ambe-bahar / mrig-bahar pruning to control bearing season
  • Pink-pulp and white-pulp variety blocks for market segmentation
  • Meadow orchard layouts with commercial yields by Year 2
  • Fruit bagging for blemish-free, organised-retail-grade produce
  • Wilt management with resistant rootstocks and soil hygiene
First commercial harvest

Figures are indicative for well-managed plantations and vary by site, variety, soil, season and management practice. They are not a projection of returns for any specific project.
